Baby Juncos
Yesterday I was out in the garden looking for photo opportunities. I was trying to find some pleasure in my blooming flowers, and trying to ignore the weed explosion. I heard a familiar, but not common chirping and thought to myself: that's a baby bird. I followed the sound and found this little guy.
Turns out there were two of them calling to mama for some food.
Mama Junco was attentive and busy finding good food for them.
Papa Junco was close by... keeping an eye on me.
